Diamond Aircraft is an Austrian aircraft manufacturer with production facilities in Austria, Canada and China. The company is headquartered in Wiener Neustadt, Lower Austria. Diamond Aircraft is also the operator of the Wiener Neustadt/Ost airfield.
The single-engine composite DART from Diamond Aircraft is equipped with a 750 hp turboprop engine from Pratt & Whitney and is a tandem-built aerobatic trainer. The DART represents an outstanding training platform with Garmin G3000 avionics, surround view canopy, and optional ejector seats. The aircraft took its maiden flight in May 2016 and is currently in the process of certification.
